  The Team

Proto continually builds a team with passion as well as experience in museum exhibitry. Most members have a formal education and more than fifteen years of experience.

The Project Director is responsible for the oversight of all operations in our projects. His talents in organization, administration, value-added engineering, and knowledge of production techniques enable Proto to fabricate exhibits, signage, and interactives of the highest quality.

The Director of Operations is responsible for the business side of operations, including marketing, contractual compliance, administration, and general operational issues.

Office Manager researches new products, creates request for quotes, purchase orders, vendor setup and payables. Travel and freight arrangements for exhibits are arranged.

Project Managers work closely with the client's team and other members of the management team in the planning, coordinating, and controlling of museum fabrication projects from inception to completion.

Exhibit Specialists work under the guidance of the Project Managers. They are specialists in differing areas, including prototyping, interactive development, electronics, lighting and graphics.

Production Manager is responsible for setting up the projects, selecting the fabrication team, procuring materials, and overseeing the fabrication process.

Finishing and Graphics Supervisor is responsible for mock-ups, samples and graphic production.

Proto employs numerous skilled craftsmen, each with a minimum of ten years experience, who are trusted for quality custom fabrication of exhibit components.
